This what the back of the stock manifold looks like
GSXR Throttle sat on top of the machined intake manifold
ITB's look cool :o)
6 ITB's from the GSXR spaced out next to the machined intake manifold.
Using the a bit of the stock manifold means the injectors sit in exactly the right place. The holes on the GSXR thottles will be plugged.
You can see the oil return is taken care of by using the stock manifold. The GSXR bodies will need spacers. Additionally tubes will need welding on to the manifold that the GSXR throttle will attached to by tube.

Machining the M20 intake on the lathe using the piller drill and milling bit
Another shot on the lathe
Two sets of ITB's give you 4 bolts to screw them together - not long enough for 6 throttles. The solution is to chop the thread off two of them and the head off the other two. Then the 4 bits are welded together to create one long bolt.
After welding the join is ground down to make it round and smooth.
hey, i was wondering if you had any pictures of the ITB’s on the car? i have a 3.0L m20 stroker and would love to try out this ITB project looks really cool!
if your not going to continue with the itb project, would u be willing to sell me what you have so far? you can email me back @ 2007minis@gmail.com. i have a 2.9l stroker/85mm bore turbo motor these would go good on

hi, sorry I don’t have any pics of it on the car as I’ve not worked on the ITB project for a few years. It’s all sat in a box at the moment! 🙂

I’m hanging on to the bits for the day when I get back to it 🙂
