Wires! Should I used the original wiring
Yes, in our experience the Lucas loom you can buy with the kit has far too few safety features. No relays for many circuits so in our opinion it is much better to use the original BMW loom and cut out the bits your don’t need. We’ve got a hybrid between the two now taking the original BMW fusebox and new wires – the long and complicated way to do it!
For wiring diagrams get an ETM (Electronic Troubleshooting Manual) from ebay.
