As part of getting the car on the road you’ll need confirmation of the age of the donor car / engine for the emissions tests. BMW can supply a birth sheet / car details all you need to do is send them the last 7 digits of the chassis number to:
Customer.Information@bmwfin.com
You probably wouldn’t need it if you have a V5, but I feel its worth having more than one source of information if you can!
